In light of the ongoing global pandemic and the advice given by the UK Govt. we would like to let you know that the health of our customers and staff is our number one priority. This statement serves to keep all Rubberduck Bathrooms customers as informed as reasonably possible. Below is a list of announcements on our current service levels which are subject to change.

Website Operations: The website remains fully operational and will continue to process orders as normal. As per UK Govt. guidelines, both Rubberduck Bathrooms and the manufacturers we connect to are working within the safe working requirements set out by the UK Govt. and reduced number of staff. As such, we expect there will be occasions where the estimated delivery time displayed across the website may not be adhered to.

Phone Lines: Phone lines remain open and Rubberduck Bathrooms staff working in the office, how ever we have a reduced number of staff which can increase call answering times and call backs times. A lot of our suppliers are still working from home and with reduced staff. Due to the difficulties of working within the guidelines set out by the UK Govt. and the subsequent increase in telephone queries relating to Covid-19, phone lines between ourselves and to the manufacturers we connect to may be busier than usual. We ask if you could please bear with us, we will endeavor to help you as quick and as efficiently we can. Please bear in mind that any requests for information on deliveries or stock availability from our suppliers will also take longer than usual due to the aforementioned reasons. We ask if you could email us through our contact page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Redcar Showroom:  TIER5 Closure. Our Showroom is closed to walkin customers. 

Installations: Installations of bathrooms & kitchens are still able to continue for customers who have already booked a installation with us. If you are having an installation carried out please maintain a social distance from all our installers and should you show any symptoms or are isolating Please advise us ASAP and to rearrange the installation.

Middlesbrough Trade Counter: Click & Collect & Trade Only. TIER5 Restrictions. Our Trade counter is open for click and collect and trade customers only. Our plumbing trade counter will remain open as it is essential installer and plumbers have the equipment they require. We kindly ask to help speed up our service you have a shopping list ready or telephone in advance or use our click and collect service to pre-order your items ready for collection. We also ask for only one customer at a time to enter the building at a time remain behind the perspex screens we have installed, us the hand sanitiser station and wear a face covering.

Available Product Ranges;

Most smaller items that are held in stock at Rubberduck Bathrooms are still available. These items are indicated by an "In stock - Next Day Delivery - Click & Collect" message on the product page and will be available for dispatch or collection the same day if ordered before 2pm. Stock updates, delivery times, and collection times may take longer to arrive due to the aforementioned reasons.

  1. All goods should be checked upon receipt and notification of any damages or discrepancies should be received within 24 hours. If you feel you do not have the ability to check for damages/discrepancies within this window, give us a call or sign for the items as damaged if you can't get through and report any issues to us in writing ASAP but within 14 days. Anything reported beyond this time frame could affect your claim.

  2. Delivery dates are given in good faith but are estimates only and subject to change based on information provided by the manufacturer. The seller shall not be liable to make good any damage or loss whether arising directly or indirectly out of delay in delivery.

  3. Tradespeople and any proprietary work SHOULD NOT be arranged until goods are received and checked for damages or discrepancies. Rubber Duck Bathrooms will not accept liability for any 3rd party costs incurred as a result of any delays in dispatch or incorrect fitments of ordered items (please check measurements prior to ordering to avoid these instances).

  4. Delivery will be made to the nearest hard road point. Carrier staff will generally be as helpful as possible but they will need assistance with heavy loads and unfortunately they are NOT insured to carry goods inside the property. If a courier is helpful enough to bring an item inside the property it is done so at the customers risk and it will be down to the customer to ensure proper floor/wall protection is in place prior to placing the items. Any property damage incurred as a result of bringing an item inside the property will not be covered by Rubber Duck Bathrooms Ltd, the manufacturer that supplied said items nor the courier that delivered them.

  5. Any advice given by our sales team is given in good faith and is based on information provided by the customer at the time of the call and by the manufacturer product info provided. While our team is on hand to offer advice where possible, we cannot know what you require with 100% confidence. If there are questions about an order or fit that would influence a change in your order with us or any other party, we would advise seeking advice from a qualified individual who was familiar with the job at hand and could visualise any factor that would influence a purchasing decision.

  6. Deliveries from the manufacturers we connect to are fulfilled either by their own dedicated service or 3rd party carriers i.e. Royal Mail, Parcel Force, FedEx, UPS, DPD etc.

  7. Carrier staff are carrier staff only, they are generally as helpful as reasonably possible but do work to strict timelines and should not be held up while delivering any items. If items cannot be delivered i.e. due to persons not being present to sign for delivery, any additional delivery charges applied by the manufacturer will be chargeable to the consumer.

  8. The risk of the goods passes to the customer from the time of delivery to the customer or any carrier or agent acting on the customers behalf. If you are leaving the items with a neighbour or another 3rd party, they will need to be notified of the procedures for checking damages/discrepancies and reporting them in the timeframes mentioned.

  9. For the return of any goods, the return must be accepted by us prior to sending said item or arranging a courier to collect said item.
