Fix-KST Fixing Adhesive provides an ideal solution for fixing Abacus Elements boards or tileable shower bases. Given it can be used internally or externally, it has many other uses too.

A single part premixed cementitious dry mortar for the bonding and fixing of elements hard-foam. Fix-KST is rapid setting, frost resistant, waterproof and suitable for bonding on to most common substrates including boarded wooden floors.

How to use this Product:

Surface Preparation: Surface Preparation: The surface must be clean, firm, dry, free of dust, dirt, oil and grease. When adhering to timber flooring, ensure the substrate is firm, stable and treated with a suitable primer. All substrates should be rigid enough to withstand loads without deflection.

Mixing & Application: Fix-KST should be added slowly to clean water (5kg to approx. 1 litre). Do not mix in temperatures less than 5°C. You can either apply using the dot-and-dab method covering approximately 40% of the board up to a bed thickness of 35mm, or by the screeding method using an 8mm comb trowel.
