The valve can draw air into the discharge pipe when negative pressure occurs, removing the need for secondary ventilation and providing greater flexibility when planning the pipework. Its self-cleaning design has no water seal that can dry out and the membrane can be removed for cleaning without dismantling the discharge pipework.
