Cleargreen Baths are built to last. Cleargreen baths are build to withstand 2.3 tonnes and come with a manufactuers guarantee of 10 years are built with 10mm diameter steel reinforcing rod runs inside
rectangular bath rims. Cleargreen baths are capable of retaining heat in the water for 30 minutes longer than any ordinary bath allowing you to enjoy a relaxing bath for longer. Not only do Cleargreen baths help you relax by retaining heat they are also practitioners of New Ergonomics believe comfort happens when an equal amount of work is performed by complementary muscle groups, also referred to as ‘tonus’ to help you body fully relax.

Reinforced Baths
Reinforced baths are superstrong and long-lasting baths made to take the ware and tare of a busy household. Heavy-duty acrylic baths are our most popular bath type. Reinforced acrylic baths has similar strength properties to steel baths but with the added advantage of not being cold to the touch.
Reinforced baths go through a process of added layers of protection which makes every bath a durable and hard-wearing feel but also enhances the baths longevity. Most reinforced baths start as a standard Bath but with added layers upon layers of resin and extra fibreglass adding extra strength and encapsulation of base boards. Some ranges of reinforced bath take this a step further by adding extra framework of metal making them superstrong.

Other than adding strength our reinforced baths retain heat for much longer meaning you can enjoy a comfortable, warm soak without having to top up the water. Many Reinforced baths come with an extended guarantee over their standard versions.

Reinforced Baths Go By Many Names
Every bath manufactuer have their own unique name for their reinforced versions of their baths.
Carronite
Carronite is Carron Bathrooms reinforced variant. Carronites provides a higher level of comfort, luxury and peace of mind. All Carron Bathrooms baths are hand finished but Carronite baths have a triple-layer reinforcement system.
Trojancast Or Supercast
Trojancast or Supercast is Trojan baths reinforced Variants. Trojan Baths has a substantial reinforcement process applied to an acrylic bath. This process gives the bath a green ‘flow coat’ which makes each bath being incredibly strong and hard-wearing.
Cleargreen
Cleargreen baths have always been reinforced and no longer make a standard bath. Formally Cleargreen introduced a ClearLine bath to compete in the none reinforced bath market, but have since ceased this standard line to concentrate on what they do best, reinforced baths.
SolidBlue
Solidblue, by BC Designs, use acrylic that is completely resistant to the UV rays which prevents discolouring when exposed to sunlight. The baths are reinforced with layers of fibreglass, resin and a special hardening composite called BC-Solidblue which makes the baths much stronger.
