Cuttable Shower Trays
Cuttable Shower Trays allow you to cut to size the Shower Tray to fit the space you require. Maybe you have unsquare space, or a boxing in the corner which would rquire you to cut out a piece of the shower tray. If you have an awkward corner or wall you need to work around in your bathroom where a shower tray wouldn't normally fit, these trays can be easily trimmed down to ensure a perfect fit.
Can you cut a shower tray to size?
Not all shower trays are cuttable, and cutting into a shower tray that isnt designed to be cut can weaken the tray and void its warantee. The shower trays in this section have been designed to be cuttable allowing you to create a custom size or shaped tray for your project.
How to cut a shower tray.
Different tray manfactuers may advised different methods of cutting their trays, but in generial may recoment a Angle Grinder or Circular saw with a suitable diamond cut blade. Remember to always are any PPE and measure twice cut once as you can not undo once the tray has been cut.
How much can you cut off a shower tray?
Different sizes and style trays will have different amounts you can cut off the trays. It always best to cut away the end furthest away from the waste or showering area to ensure water has the best chance of flowing to the waste.
